We’re happy to announce that The Basics of Teaching Artistry Program can now be taken separately! Each course focuses on specific aspects of teaching artistry, from an overview of fundamentals to the places where teaching artists can use the arts to inspire and engage communities.

The program is a collaboration between Kadenze Academy and three leading international institutions: Lincoln Education Center, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and Sydney Opera House. These courses are designed as an entry-level program for professionals and creatives to develop their practice. By the end of the program, teaching artists will be able to integrate their art form and skills within a wide range of settings, such as schools, after school programs, community agencies, prisons, and social service agencies.

Taught by Kadenze Academy, this course provides an overview of the teaching artistry field and its basic principles.

The Work of Teaching Artists

Lincoln Education Center illustrates the essential skills and systematic approaches teaching artists need to develop.

Teaching Artists, Audiences, and Communities

Presented by Queensland Performing Arts Centre, this course introduces learners to central issues in the way teaching artists actively engage with audiences and communities.

The Places of Teaching Artistry

This course from Sydney Opera House examines place as a springboard for developing the purpose and structure of their teaching artist projects.
