We have a new course launching today! The fourth course of our Program is Fundamentals of Video Production. This entry focuses on foundational concepts in video production designed to complete the transition from photography to videography.

Building on the previous topics on camera and sound essentials, this Program-exclusive course connects those principles so students can apply their knowledge by working on their first shoot in the field. Students will learn how to prepare for pre-production, including storyboarding, location scouting, and budgeting for shoots. Lessons will be on the tools and resources required to successfully move from the pre-production to post-production stages.

Produced by School of Visual Arts, the course is part of the Program Photographer to Video in Today’s Gig Economy. The Program is designed to give digital photographers an introduction to video production. This course is taught by Eduardo Angel, an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and co-founder of production company The Digital Distillery.
