At Kadenze, we strive to make education accessible to all. One of the ways we do this is by partnering up with institutions and organizations, and sponsoring creative events.

On November 3, 2017, thousands of sound and synth enthusiasts will come together for the biggest synth fair in Southern Europe. SOUNDMIT, a 3-day summit which takes place in Turin, Italy, is a networking and trading mecca for electronic musicians and electronic music enthusiasts.

This summit is a project by the Italian cultural association NOISECOLLECTIVE and will feature 35 exhibitors including Roland, Yamaha, and Sputnik Modular.

The first day of the event is open to distributors, agents, retailers, musicians, producers, and other industry professionals. They’ll get first eyes (and trys!) on displayed instruments, and excellent opportunities for networking and collaboration.

The second and third day is open to the public. Attendees will be able to access workshops, training sessions, showcases, and live performances. What makes this event extra-special is that it isn’t just talks and lectures: it’s a great chance to really play with different instruments and see what’s at the forefront of the music technology industry.

Tickets are on sale now for one-day access to SOUNDMIT as well as two-day access tickets. If you are a musician, retailer, business agent, distributor, or not accredited journalist, you can request for a ticket to get access on the first day.

If you aren’t able to make it to SOUNDMIT, there are other ways of exploring the world of sound and music technology. Check out these courses:
